The Central Planning Division and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Commerce and Trade will embark on a series of public awareness programmes on OECS Development Strategy Awareness beginning September 6.{{more}}
The strategy is a long term plan formulated as a response to the changing global economic environment that has implications for small island developing states such as St. Vincent and the Grenadines. To ensure that every citizen has a working knowledge of the development strategy, the Heads of Government agreed that OECS Secretariat in conjunction with member states should undertake a public education campaign.
The programme will officially get on the way on September 7 at the Foreign Affairs’ Conference Room. It will end on September 8.
