Prime Minister Manning will receive a routine medical check-up when he goes to Cuba for a four-day visit from Wednesday this week the Trinidad Guardian has reported.{{more}}
The paper said the twin island nation’s Prime Minister will return home tomorrow Saturday.
This visit to Cuba marks the continuation of a process started for the leader who in April 1998 had heart surgery in Havana, Cuba, and has travelled to Cuba for check-ups ever since.
Despite the visit being related to a previous health concern, one of Manning’s advisers, Monique St Cyr, yesterday said the Prime Minister was in perfect health.
