Nneka, Madiba serve big in Maryland

Two Vincentians Nneka and Madiba Dennie are making huge strides in Maryland, United States of America.
At a recent recognition ceremony Nneka was elected as the Second Vice President of the Maryland Association of Student Councils (MASC). At age 11, she is the first person from St. Mary’s County to be voted into such a position at the state level. {{more}}Nneka was invited by the County Commissioners to a recognition ceremony at which they presented her with a certificate for “Outstanding and praiseworthy accomplishments”.
A release stated that both Madiba and Nneka are deeply into student government and other leadership activities in their county and state. Madiba is just ending her second term as the County’s Second Vice President of student councils and at the end of the month, both girls would be in a group representing Maryland at a National Convention in Las Vegas.
