SVG Players wins Section of the Band two years running

The top three positions in this year’s Section of the Band competition remained as they were last year, with the SVG Players International holding on to the number one spot.{{more}}

Players repeated their 2013 feat, this time with their presentation “Pot of Gold” from their portrayal of “Beyond The Rainbow.”

Guinness Y De Lima Hitz FM 103.7 Blondie Bird and Friends retained their second place position with their section “Fiery” from their portrayal of “Heat,” while Owen Ralph and the Professionals’ “Good Over Evil” from their 2014 effort, Dimensions in Life, earned them the third position.

This year’s fourth place went to the High Voltage Mas Band, sponsored by Presidente in association with Metrocint General Insurance Company Limited, who presented “Virus” from their portrayal of “Tech Fantasy.”

In fifth position was the band Imagination, with their presentation of Steel and Glitter, from their presentation of “In Front The Eyes.”
