The showcases will feature the best of St Vincent and the Grenadines from the various zonal preliminaries held around the country during the month and will see presentations in music, song, dance and drama.

Scheduled to appear will be the outstanding artistes from the various zones including: KLT Dancers from Marriaqua, Josh and Reneatta Lapp, Mayreau, Methodist Dramatists and Light Rangers of Kingstown, Vermont Miracle Dancers and the Music Boys of South Leeward, Jewel Cordice of North Windward, Super Kidz and Simone Mason of North Leeward.

The performances from local artistes will be complemented by international gospel artistes Damita Haddon and Jessica Reedy of the USA, along with Bishop John Cline and the 50-member New Life Baptist Church Choir of the British Virgin Islands. Damita Haddon, who is popularly known for her big hits “It All Belongs To You” and “Praise You Now,” is asking Vincentians to ‘walk with their dancing shoes and garments of praise for an evening of powerful worship’, while Jessica Reedy, the BET Gospel Across America winner, is promising Vincentians “A night to remember in the presence of the Lord”. Popular televangelist Bishop John Cline will also deliver special messages for the nation on both nights.

Chairman of the Gospel Fest Committee Fidel Taylor will give an official address along with the major sponsors.

SVG Gospel Fest, now into its tenth year, is being celebrated under the theme: “A Glorious Celebration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ”. Given the growing popularity of the festival, the committee is expecting a large turnout at the Victoria Park.
