Uphoria – Wicked in White

Friday, June 19, is the date when all of SVG will be ‘Wicked in White’, as the Vincentian public enters the realm of ‘Uphoria – An out of body soca experience’.{{more}}

The fete, a production of both Hitz 103.7 and Dynamic Guys, is said to be a place of intense happiness where all frustration and troubles are left at the gate and where excitement and fun reign from beginning to end.

Candice Sealey, Head of Sales & Marketing at the SVG Broadcasting Corporation, emphasizes that ‘Uphoria’ is not just another show, that it’s an experience that will make patrons wonder if this is a reality or indeed a dream, since it will be that good! The fete will feature the biggest names in local soca as well as a popular regional act, all under an array of purple lights, which will form part of the light extravaganza. It will be further enhanced by the best light and sound distribution system of Dynamic Guys as well as Hitz 103.7 DJs.

Fete organizers have reiterated that the dress code will be in full effect for everyone. According to them, ‘Wicked in White’, doesn’t mean to just be dressed in white but to be really ‘wicked’, so ladies should be sexy, daring, captivating, creative and absolutely wicked! They are being urged to bring their creativity to life, whether it be with costumes, masks, body suits or their own creations, even if it’s simple, just make sure it’s wicked and white! On the other hand, the men are asked to bring their swagger and be whoever they want to be whether a movie star, the bling crew, or even a pimp suit!

Businesses are being urged to start displaying their wicked in white outfits so that the public can begin making their choice quite early. There will be prizes for the best dressed ‘Wicked in White’ male, female,

couple and crew.
