Unity Youths ready for Arnos Vale battle
The Miss Unity Youths pageant is set to take place tomorrow evening at the Arnos Vale Sporting Complex, commencing at 7:00 p.m.{{more}}
The pageant, organized by the Youth Arm of the Unity Labour Party (ULP), will be contested by ten delegates. This is the third year that the show will be held.
The delegates are: Marriaqua – Shenika Bascombe – Miss Uptown International; South Central Windward – Kimberly Benn – Miss Right Stuff; South Windward – Radika Doyle – Miss Franco Construction; North Central Windward – Kennlyn Fisher – Miss Star Radio; Central Leeward – Shanel Gibson – Miss Allanâs Bakery; East Kingstown – Thameka Gordon – Miss Caribbean Sheets and Tubular Ltd. (CASAT); Central Kingstown – Crystal Jack – Miss Mitzubishi; West St. George – Faizah Miller – Miss Swift Pac; West Kingstown – Sophia Providence – Miss Aquatic Club and South Leeward – Cachely Yorke – Miss Kendraâs Aluminium.
They will be judged in four categories: Sport Wear, Talent, Evening Wear and Interview, on the evening of the show. However, the Peopleâs Choice will be awarded to the contestant who receives the most called-in-votes on Star Radioâs Morning Scoop and Street Beat.
Appearances will be made by the Urban, La Gracia and Avenue Dancers, among others. The Featured artiste will be Singing Sandra, of Trinidad and Tobago.
