Paper Plus Publishing Events in association with Image Modelling Agency presents 2007 Face of Shabeau Model Search.

Shabeau Magazine is a Barbadian Magazine and it’s the #2 Fashion Magazine in the Caribbean.

The Face of Shabeau competition is in its 2nd year and was won last year by Lisa Marie Henry Sims of Trinidad.{{more}} After winning the competition Lisa Marie Henry-Sims has graced the cover of Shabeau November 2006 to Janaury 2007, walked the runway at all major Caribbean shows including Fashion Caribbean 2006 and has been cast to become the face of a major beauty product campaign in the Caribbean. The competition, held in Barbados, saw participants from various Caribbean countries including Barbados, Guyana, Antigua, Dominica and Trinidad. This year St Vincent and the Grenadines has been invited to send a representative.



The Face of Shabeau 2007 Model Search team invites Vincentians to join them and their international partners, Barrington Casting Co. of New York and Slamm Model Management of Atlanta whose portfolios include International model and actor Tyson Beckford and Wendy Fitzwilliams and Jennifer Lopez to name a few.

The team will be in St Vincent and the Grenadines on Saturday 3rd March at Oasis Spa from 4:00 pm. Registration is $20. Participants must be between the ages 16 – 25, females 5 ft 9” or over and males 5 ft 10” or over. The models who are chosen, ten males and ten females, will take part in a fashion show handled by Image Modelling Agency, the show’s local franchise owner, to select the male and female representatives for St Vincent and the Grenadines. Those two representatives will go on to the Face of Shabeau Model Search in Barbados flying the Vincentian flag proudly.

The winners of the competition will become the 2007 Faces of Shabeau, be given modelling contracts and a host of other prizes.

Face of Shabeau Model Search is part of Image Modelling Agency’s Follow Fashion Events and all proceeds from the final show on March 3rd will go towards Our Lady of Guadalupe Home For Girls.
