The Image Modelling Agency announced on Monday that because of an overwhelming number of requests, the Agency has decided to open up model participation for Fashion Caribbean 2006, to interested local and regional models, as well as persons who may already be a part of other modelling agencies.
According to the release, the agency is expecting that this yearâs show will reach an even wider audience especially after lasts yearâs event which received favourable reviews and was widely publicized in the regional press.{{more}}
This yearâs event will also include the 1st Annual Fashion Caribbean Market Place which will be a showcase for the Fashion Caribbean designers, craftsmen and business places from St. Vincent and the Grenadines as well as the region. The event is expected to run from the 1st – 3rd September, with the fashion show to be held on the night of Saturday, September 2.
The Agency will be hosting a casting call on Saturday July 22, open to females, 14 years of age and above and 5â9â or taller and males who are at least 5â 11â and 20 years of age. Interested persons need not have any prior runway experience. The selected persons will undergo intensive training with the agency for the months of July and August in preparation for the event.
