Seven to compete for Miss Police Queen title
Seven police women are getting set to grace the stage in the 2005 Miss Police Contest.
This contest is but one of several activities being undertaken as the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force celebrate Police Week. {{more}}
The chosen theme for the week, which runs from the 22 to 28 May is âFacing the Challenges Together for a Secured Futureâ.
The big event planned for Friday 27 May will see the Police Queen Show twinned with the annual calypso competition and will be held at the Old Montrose Police Station from 8pm.
The Miss Constabulary Delegates are Shevorn Cato-Miss Eastern, Renetta Jordon-Miss Southern Grenadines, Donna Kennedy-Miss South Central, Sylvorne Olliver-Miss South Western, Lystra Ollivierre-Miss North Western, Roxanne Ralph-Miss Northern Grenadines and Joselle Thomas-Miss Central.
The calypsonians vying for police calypso honours are Inspector Michael âCrocusâ Charles, AB Roland âChico Bâ Cato, PC Renrick Cato, PC Colin âExileâ May, PC Trevor âMighty Strangerâ Grant and PC Deron âDasâ Glasgow.
The show is expected to attract a large audience, just as it has in former years.
