Wood said Tuesday that the delegates are currently engaged in intense training. He also noted that the contestants will have opportunities to be more interactive especially with the youth of this nation, in various educational institutions.

Wood re-enforced that to ensure patrons receive quality performances, especially in the talent segment, all performances will be scrutinized by the CDC before the actual night of the show. This is to ensure that the contestants receive constructive criticism to improve their acts.

The eight contestants will be presented to the public on May 7 at the official launching of Vincy mas and will finally showcase the diversity of Vincentian young women at the Victoria Park on Saturday May 28.

Last year’s winner was Jevorne Williams, who won a scholarship and is currently studying linguistics at the Cave Hill Campus,Barbados.
