Master Room Studios which produced the hit song said in a release issued Wednesday that James âJamesy Pâ Morgan is the first Vincentian to reach the coveted finals in the land of Soca. The studio said that Nookie is into the Groovy Soca Monarch finals.
Master Room has informed that Jamesy P who is set to hit the stage at number 8 on tonightâs big show is being sought after by many international labels.
It will be anybodyâs guess whether a Trinidad panel of judges will allow a non-Trini to cop the Soca Monarch title. We expect Jamesy P and Nookie to continue to break down barriers in Trinidad and across the Soca loving world this summer and beyond.
