Make your nights/ mornings warm again
Where I’m living the nights and mornings tend to still be a bit more on the chilly side than I would like, so lets get rid of the socks and warm up from the inside out.
Eggnog Latee

You will need:

2 tbsp. sugar

1/3 cup milk

2/3cup eggnog

(home-made or

store bought)

1/2 cup prepared coffee at double concentration (or 2 shots espresso if you have)

(add coffee to half cup water if your don’t have a coffee maker)

Optional: Add a pinch of ground nutmeg

Place milk and eggnog in a bowl and microwave (in micro-waveable bowl) with heat on high for 30-45 seconds, or place in pot and heat until the mixture starts to bubble up (take care not to let it boil over or burn). Pour mixture into a mixer or blender and add sugar. Mix until it has doubled in volume due to air bubbles. Pour the hot prepared coffee (or espresso) into the bottom of a deep mug. Holding back the milk foam with a spoon, carefully pour the milk mixture into the coffee. Do not stir. Gently spoon the foam over the top. Sprinkle with some freshly grated (or ground) nutmeg if you wish.

Hot Chocolate

You will need:

1/4 cup cocoa

1/2 cup sugar

1/2 tsp salt

1/3 cup water

4 cups milk

1 tsp vanilla

Whipped Cream or

mini marshmallows

In a saucepan mix the dry ingredients. Add the water and bring to a boil, keep boiling for one minute. Then add the milk. Heat until it’s the temp you like. Take off the heat and add the vanilla, stir and serve topped with whipped cream or marshmallows. Enjoy
