Brit nabbed at AIA fined $60,000 for cocaine
A 19- year- old citizen United Kingdom citizen who was nabbed with cocaine at the Argyle International Airport (AIA) was fined a total of $60,000 for illegally possessing, trafficking and exporting 2,500 grams of the drug.
Warren-Lee Davies who appeared at the Serious Offences Court before Chief Magistrate, Colin John yesterday, March 26, 2026 claimed through his lawyer, that someone had threatened him which led to him committing the crime. He was fined for having in his possession 2500 grammes of cocaine- a controlled drug- with intent to supply it to another.
Davies was also charged that he attempted to export 2500 grammes of cocaine; and that he had the controlled drug in his possession for the purpose of drug trafficking.
