Man shot and killed in Diamond
THE DIAMOND AREA is once again in the news as it relates to homicides, with the shooting death of 66-year-old Winston Williams.
On Friday, March 20,2026 sometime after 9:00 p.m,Williams was shot multiple times about his body while tending his shop which is attached to his home in the South Windward constituency. He died in the presence of his partner, Cylethta Bowens.
It is being reported that shortly before Williams closed his shop for the night, a customer went to the establishment and asked to purchase three beers.
The shopkeeper was mortally wounded minutes after the purchase. The police said they are investigating and are asking persons who may have information into the deadly shooting to come forward.
