NIS Celebrates Pensioners

THE NATIONAL INSURANCE SERVICES (NIS) hosted its annual Pensioners’ Appreciation Day on Friday, February 20, 2026, at their headquarters in Kingstown, St Vincent and the Grenadines, where senior citizens were recognized and celebrated for their years of contribution to national development. The event brought together pensioners, government officials, and NIS staff under the theme “Legacy of Love”.

Delivering remarks at the ceremony, Executive Director Stewart Haynes, emphasized that the theme was deeply reflective of the contributions made by the nation’s retirees.

“Legacy of Love” is not just a slogan but it is the “truth”, he said. “You have laid the foundation for us. Looking across this room I have seen strength, I have seen sacrifice and I have seen resilience.”
