Calm Yuhself Youth Man! Urge recording Artiste, Farmer

Reggae recording artist, producer and farmer Patrick Junior, has released a powerful song aimed at encouraging young people to turn away from gun violence and choose more positive paths. The song, entitled “CalmYuhselfYouth Man,” was officially released in 2025, although Junior revealed that he began writing it many years earlier.
Junior, who has been residing in Buccament since returning from New York in 2019, shared his motivation for the song during an interview with SEARCHLIGHT on Wednesday February 4, 2026. He explained that music has always been a major part of his life, stating that he has “… been doing music from… the youthful age of 12 years old and…did most works in NewYork City”.
According to Junior, “CalmYuhself Youth Man” speaks directly to the issue of youth crime and gun violence, which continue to claim the lives of many young people. He said the song was written to send a clear message of hope and guidance to youths who may feel trapped by anger or negative influences.
