Finance Minister lays EC$1.9 b. Estimates in Parliament

HE 2026 ESTIMATES of revenue and expenditure for St Vincent and the Grenadines was laid in the House of Assembly on Thursday, January 29,2026 by Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Dr. Godwin Friday. He said the EC$1.9 billion package represents a 2% increase over the 2025 figure.

Recurrent expenditure for this year amounts to one million, three hundred and eight thousand, three hundred and nineteen dollars.

Capital Expenditure is projected to be five hundred and seventy seven million, two hundred and ninety thousand, one hundred and ten dollars.

Prime Minister Friday said this year’s Budget financing will come from current revenue of nine hundred and six million, eight hundred and seventy five thousand, two hundred and thirty dollars.
