SVG Cadets plan virtual reunion as part of 90th anniversary activities

THE STVINCENT ANDTHE Grenadines (SVG) Cadet Corps plans to engage with former members, and host a stakeholder reunion as part of year-long activities staged each month to mark their 90th anniversary.

At a media launch held on January, 19, 2026, Major Philip Cambridge said the “virtual reunion that focuses on ex-cadets in the diaspora” will be held in April, and they are “not only looking forward to the ex-cadets being a part of the celebrations but also to share their experience and partner with them moving on”.

During their ‘protocol and ethics’ training in March, the St Vincent and the Grenadines Cadet Corp “would be involved with other stakeholders and partners of SVG”; and in July, during their annual training camp, the Cadets aim to draw participation not only from its ranks locally, but to also welcome cadets from the region and internationally as well.
