SVG Tourism still untapped says PM Friday
THE POTENTIAL OF St Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG), as it relates to tourism, and other economic drivers is untapped. This is the assessment of Prime Minister, Dr. Godwin Friday.
With the possibilities in view the newly elected prime minister extended a warm welcome to Delta Airlines on its inaugural flight into SVG on December 20, 2025.
“…this inaugural fight represents a big moment for our country. In today’s interconnected world, access is essential,” the prime minister stated.
“ Improved connectivity strengthens our links to key markets. It enhances our competitiveness as a tourism destination and plays a critical role in the modern development and economic growth of our country,” said PM Friday, stressing that Delta’s arrival into SVG marked more than the arrival of a flight. He pointed out that reliable airlift shapes how countries attract visitors, how they conduct business and how they participate in the global economy.
