SVG emerges as New Caribbean Hotspot
ST.VINCENT ANDTHE GRENADINES (SVG), is seeing a boom in US tourism with a 49. 5% increase in arrivals. Once a quiet, off-the-radar destination, St. Vincent and the Grenadines is now one of the Caribbean’s fastest-growing tourist hotspots. Over the past few years, the island nation has undergone a dramatic transformation, emerging as a favorite among U.S. travellers. In 2025, the destination saw a 20.5% increase in tourist arrivals, with a notable surge in American visitors, whose numbers grew by an astonishing 49.5% compared to the previous year. This surge is largely due to the introduction of new all-inclusive resorts and a concerted effort by local businesses and airlines to make the island more accessible than ever before.
The appeal lies in its diverse offeringsfrom lush rainforests and hiking trails, to pristine beaches and top-tier sailing. St. Vincent, the largest island in the archipelago, is not only home to the only international airport, but also a variety of accommodations and experiences that cater to a wide range of travellers, from adventure-seekers to luxury vacationers. The arrival of Sandals St. Vincent has played a pivotal role in this growth. Opened in 2024, this all-inclusive resort has quickly become a game-changer for the region, sparking a tourism boom by attracting more travellers to the island. Prior to its opening, St.Vincent and the Grenadines was relatively under the radar for American tourists, but Sandals’ reputation as a leading luxury brand has brought immediate visibility to the destination.
