Night Clinics provide more than basic health services
FREE SCREENINGS for prostate cancer, organised recently by the Ministry of Health on the one hand and a private entity, PraxTherapy, on the other revealed some startling numbers.
It was on the heels of these screenings that the Ministry of Health, in collaboration with the Lions Club of St Vincent South, held a series of night clinics at the Comsport facility in Arnos Vale earlier this month.
Speaking at one of the night clinics, President of the St Vincent and the Grenadines Medical Association (SVGMA), Dr. Najah Peters, explained that the Association’s involvement in the night clinics was important as the event targeted basic things issues regarding the promotion of health and being proactive in getting health checks for diseases like cancer.
