New Cabinet to ‘get their marching orders’ today

THE NEW CABINET of St Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) is expected to be sworn in today at 5:00 p.m. during a ceremony at the Arnos Vale Sports Complex.

Speaking yesterday, December 1,2025 on the ground floor of the administrative complex on Bay Street the newly elected Prime Minister, Dr. Godwin Friday, said he was “excited” and “a little nervous” but was sure that the staff are willing to work to help the transition of power.

“…we are ready to put all the things that we talked about during the campaign that we’ve talked about over the years- into practice; and I believe that with goodwill we will deliver for the people of St Vincent and the Grenadines. And that is what keeps me going, and I can’t wait to get actually started into it,” the new prime minister told the gathering.
