All hands ondeck-Dr Friday

PRIME MINISTER of St Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) Dr. Godwin Friday, says his New Democratic Party (NDP) administration is open to suggestions from people who may have better ideas than what his team may put forward, or has already put forward.

The newly elected prime minister said he is humbled by the trust and the honour that the electorate has given him.

Dr. Friday, who served as a member of parliament for 23 years for the Northern Grenadines, was sworn in as prime minister on Friday, November 28, 2025 at Government House. As promised during the general elections campaign, in his first address in his new capacity, Dr. Friday stressed that he intends to do his duty as a prime minister “for all the people of this country”.
