Stubbs man shot, killed in Akers
The number 666, often considered a bad omen due to its association with the “Number of the Beast” in the book of Revelation, seems to have brought bad luck to a man who was driving a white Toyota Vitz with the registration number PA666.
This country recorded its 34th homicide for 2025 on Thursday afternoon around 3:00 p.m. when a man, Shem Walker, was shot along the Argyle/Akers bypass road.
Reports are that Walker, 25, a Stubbs resident, and the son of an ex-police officer, was in motor vehicle PA666, a white Toyota Vitz, when it came under gunfire.
In a recording being circulated on social media, the car is seen crashed, the airbags deployed, the back windscreen broken and the left front door open. Walker is curled up dead on the pavement a few feet away next to an electricity pole.
Walker was a popular figure in an around Kingstown.
