Dr Gonsalves calls for vigilance from ‘Labour Warriors’

Leader of the governing Unity Labour Party (ULP), Dr. Ralph Gonsalves has called on supporters of the party to be vigilant in this heightened campaign season.

Speaking on Sunday evening November, 2, 2025 at the ‘Amazing Grace’ Rally at the Chatoyer National Park, Rabacca, Dr. Gonsalves said: “As warriors in the labour family, I want you to be vigilant. They are going about tearing down our posters. They are…burning our posters. I am telling you not to do that. We believe in free and fair elections. We are a free and democratic people.”

The Gospel Rally was held in support of the ULP’s North Windward candidate, Dr. Grace Walters, who is a newcomer on the political scene.

“We are a proud people,” Dr. Gonsalves reminded party supporters, “but you have to be vigilant…you all have to have vigil as warriors of the labour family and make checks from time to time”.
