Two regional heads give thumbs up to major SVG new projects
INFRASTRUCTURAL DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS in St Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) that include the Modern Kingstown Port, and the Acute Referral Hospital in Arnos Vale have received good reviews from Prime Minister of Saint Lucia, Philip J.Pierre, and Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of Dominica Roosevelt Skerritt.
The two Prime Ministers joined Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves in St Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 where they toured the Acute Referral Hospital project at Arnos Vale, and the Modern Kingstown Port that is scheduled to be officially opened on Saturday, October 25, 2025.
Commenting on the projects and the overall development in SVG at a press conference on the premises of the new port, Dominica’s Skerritt, said what Prime Minister Gonsalves has done “is exceptional”.
“…one has to take the development in St Vincent and the Grenadines in context of the challenges that St Vincent has faced over the years From hurricanes to the earthquakes.
