Police Corporal awarded Youth Excellence Award in Security
A CORPORAL OF POLICE, who was awarded Police Woman of the Year, the Most Outstanding Police Officer at the Colonaire Police Station, the Most Outstanding Police Officer in the Eastern Division, and the Most Outstanding Police Officer in the Sexual Offences Unit(SOU) has now copped the Prime Ministerial Youth Excellence Award in Security.
Cpl Romancia Jordan was shocked and ecstatic when her contributions in the Royal St Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force(RSVGPF) were recognised on a national stage at the Prime MinisterialYouth Advisory Council’s Youth Excellence Awards, hosted at the Villa Campus of the St Vincent and the Grenadines Community College(SVGCC) on October 18, 2025.
Despite serving in the RSVGPF for under 10 years, Jordan has racked up many accolades. In 2018, she was named Policewoman of the Year, the Most Outstanding Police Officer at the Colonaire Police Station, and the Most Outstanding Police Officer in the Eastern Division.
She was awarded for being the Most Outstanding Police Officer in the sexual offenses unit (SOU) two years after she was transferred to that unit in 2018.
