Eighty-four North Windward residents receive title deeds
EIGHTY-FOUR TITLE DEEDS were handed out to residents in communities north of the Rabacca dry river on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at Orange Hill, but a number of persons were not present to receive theirs. The titled deeds were provided to residents who were relocated due to a number of natural disasters which badly affected communities north of the dry river.
“The receipt of documentation stating that you are the owner of something is a joyous occasion and one that should not be taken lightly,” the candidate of the Unity Labour Party for the North Windward Constituency, Dr Grace Walters said at the ceremony.
“The receipt of your documents today marks another level of independence in your own lives,” she said. “I was informed that a number of persons receiving their titled deeds today, are women. The fact that this government, this ULP government, is looking out for women. It is one of the things that is high on the priority of this administration … not only making citizens of St. Vincent and the Grenadines independent, but also doing whatever can be done to uplift the lives of women in St.Vincent and the Grenadines, of empowering women.”
