PM launches his two latest books

On Thursday night October, 16, 2025, at the Peace Memorial Hall, Kingstown, Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves launched his two most recent publications.

The books are titled ‘Regional Integration in our Caribbean’, and ‘Labour is Working for All’.

Government Senator, Keisal Peters, who chaired the proceedings, told the audience: “It is with great pleasure and a deep sense of honour that I welcome you to this evening’s official book launch under the theme- Ideas that Shape a Nation. Tonight, on the 31st anniversary of the formation of the Unity Labour Party, we gather to celebrate intellect, leadership and vision, qualities that have long guided the development of our beloved nation. St. Vincent and the Grenadines.” The Minister of National Mobilisation also said that the occasion “marks not merely the unveiling of two publications, but the presentation of thoughtful works that document the very philosophy and practical achievements that continue to shape our national journey”.

Senator Peter the publications “stand as powerful reflections of progressive thought, scholarship, and service to people and country”.

The mode of the launch was an engagement between Prime Minister, Gonsalves, and Historian, Dr Cleve Scott.
