PM not ready to ‘ring the bell’ at ULP Layou rally

While many may have felt the date for the general elections in St. Vincent and the Grenadines would have been announced at the Unity Labour Party’s ‘We Working-Big Red’ rally at Layou last Saturday, October 11, 2025, party Leader and Prime Minister, Dr Ralph Gonsalves, told the crowd they will have to wait until another time for that announcement. The party was staging one of its so far,few mass activities leading up to the next general elections, and party chairman, Edwin Snagg began by setting the tone for the event.

“There is no room for mistakes. There is no room for errors in this particular time, in this crucial period, in terms of what is happening in the world overall. There is no room for errors. We don’t take chances.

We can’t take chances with the future of our children. We can’t take chances with the future of ourselves,” Snagg declared.
