September 30 is tax payment deadline
The end of September 2025 marks the deadline for payment of several taxes, and the Inland Revenue Department (IRD) is asking the taxpaying public to be aware of this.
Comptroller of the Inland Revenue Department (IRD), Kelvin Pompey, is advising the public that people who may have queries about their taxes can visit the IRD as personnel are on hand to deal with any questions they may have.
He said that as the quarter ends on September, 30, “we have quite a bit of deadlines concerning our taxpayer in public.
“And you know, of course, we have an obligation to inform and to educate our taxpayers, and we don’t want persons to wait… until the last few days or week, because at the end of September, 2025 we have estimated taxes due,” Pompey told SEARCHLIGHT on Thursday, September, 18, 2025.
Taxes which become due by September, 30, 2025 include licenses for motor vehicles whose last digit is 9; persons who are paying a half year motor vehicle license with the last digit being 3; persons who have not yet paid their driver’s licenses for September; liquor licenses for the fourth quarter; corporate tax returns; and outstanding property taxes.
