PM, proud of his constituents

Prime Minister, Dr Ralph Gonsalves, is proud of the persons in his constituency who continue to aim for higher education.

Dr Gonsalves is the parliamentary representative for North Central Windward which includes Park Hill, expressed his pride on NBC radio last Wednesday, September, 3, 2025.

The prime minister revealed that there are over 2,500 persons on the list for tuition scholarships this year, and more than 170 of these are from areas across the North Central Windward Constituency.

He said in a “small village like Park Hill” there are 38 recipients to these scholarships.

“Park Hill at 38, that village alone exceeds the 20 or so students from the whole of St Vincent and the Grenadines who were at university when we arrived in office,” following the 2001 general election, he stated.

“The 38 in Park Hill way exceed the whole of the country in 2001 when I arrived,” he stressed, “one small village”.
