St Clair Jimmy Prince endorsed for Marriaqua

THE UNITY LABOUR PARTY (ULP) has endorsed Minister of Health,Wellness and the Environment, St Clair Jimmy Prince, for another run in the constituency of Marriaqua, which he currently represents in Parliament.

The ULP Constituency Council’s selection of Prince took place on Saturday, August 30,2025 at the Marriaqua Government School.

Prince has been serving as Member of Parliament for Marriaqua since the 2015 general elections. Prior to this, Marriaqua was represented by then Deputy Prime Minister, Girlyn Miguel, who served the constituency on a ULP ticket from 2001 to 2015.

This therefore, will be Prince’s third run for the opportunity to represent Marriaqua, having won the seat in 2015, and again in 2020.

In the 2020 elections, he defeated Bernard Wyllie who was the candidate for the opposition New Democratic Party (NDP). In the upcoming general elections, Prince will face off against Phillip Jackson of the NDP who was selected as their candidate on December 23, 2024.
