Peter ‘Playboy’ Dennie died at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital hours after a section of his apartment was gutted by fire. The fire reportedly started around 4 a.m.

Dennie, 28, was employed as Operations Manager at NICE Radio which is located at Dorsetshire Hill. He was employed there for more than eight years.

The mood at NICE Radio on Thursday morning was somber, as staff members tried to come to grips with the loss.

Calls to the station on their daily interactive program New Times, hosted by E.G Lynch, were mainly ones of condolences, as tributes poured in.

Dennie was described as the most loved person, who would help in every area of the station.

“He was everything to NICE Radio,” said one co-worker.

Another co-worker said her deceased friend was full of life and funny.

Meanwhile, Dennie’s newly-wedded wife Kenisha, is reported to be hospitalized following the fire.

At press time, police investigation of the incident was still in its early stages.
