The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force called in the media Wednesday to demonstrate they are maintaining their vigilance with a number of operations recently, some of which are still on going. Chief Magistrate Simone Churaman agreed with court Prosecutor Sergeant Adolphus Delpesche who asked for three months to allow the police to test some items to be analysed for evidence.

Foye, tall, slim, appeared calm during his court appearance. He even smiled when confronted by cameras from photographers keen on getting a shot of the accused man. His charge stemmed from the death of Percy Browne at Carriere October 3. Dressed in a short sleeved black shirt, grey pants, black belt and black shoes, beneath a low crop of black hair, Foye showed signs of unease at times, but maintained an otherwise stony calm and silence. His capture followed another operation during which two Barbadian fugitives were nabbed. Adrian Theodore Arthur and Dennis Blackman were caught at a house in the northeastern district of Georgetown last week Thursday.

Commissioner of Police William Harry praised the cooperation of the Vincentian civilian especially the Georgetown residents. Their support assisted with the recapture of the Barbadian escapees.

The police, along with the Coast Guard, were looking into a matter involving Marcus Edith, 26, and Vincent Fanus, 34, both of Micoud, St. Lucia.

A 25-foot boat, named ‘Better Days’ was at the Howard’s Marine, brought in by two men, according to the manager. But, the St. Lucians claimed that the boat engine broke down off the Owia point. They claimed that six men, four armed with shot guns, and two with cutlasses, took them into the north leeward area of De Volet, robbed them of their possessions and sent them swimming.

They somehow made their way to the Calliaqua Police station and lodged their complaint.
