Domestic Worker on two counts of assault
A 45-year-old domestic worker of Campden Park, who pleaded not guilty in court to two counts of assault, has been granted bail and will appear in court again in October, 2026.
The police said in a release that Eleanor Cupid was arrested on March 9, 2026 and charged with the assault of a domestic, also of Campden Park. Cupid is alleged to have assaulted the 53-year-old domestic by hitting her on her left arm with a Hairoun bottle. She was further charged with entering upon her property, “Her yard”, with intent to commit the offence of wounding.
The offences are alleged to have been committed in Campden Park on January 17, 2026.
Cupid appeared before the Kingstown Magistrate Court on March 10, 2026, where she pleaded not guilty. She was granted composite bail in the sum of EC$2,000 with one surety and was ordered to report to the Questelles Police Station every Wednesday between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. The matter was adjourned to October 3, 2026.
