Man found guilty on drugs charges awaits sentencing

A REDEMPTION SHARPES resident will be sentenced in early March, after he was found guilty of illegally possessing and trafficking 907,546 grams of Cannabis almost 12 years ago.

Rajiv Deshong appeared at the High Court before Justice Rickie Burnett yesterday, February 9, 2026 where he was found not guilty of two charges; and had guilty verdicts returned on two charges of illegal drug possession and trafficking.
