Two men charged with possession of 2,500 grams of cocaine were granted bail on Monday.
Keith Warren and Bevan Boyea, both of Byera, but Warren being from Georgetown originally, were arrested in Kingstown last Saturday, allegedly in possession of 2,585g of the drug. They were charged for possession of cocaine and the intent to traffic it in court on November 20.
Without objection to bail, after the two pleaded not guilty to the offences, $50,000 bail was granted to both Warren and Boyea, with stop orders placed at all ports against them and their travel documents to be surrendered.
The two are to report to the police station twice weekly, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.(KR)
