Teen to stand trial for death of Campden Park man

A Campden Park teen is expected to stand trial at the High Court for allegedly causing the death of a fellow villager last year.

Kishroy John, 16, has been charged with causing the death of Sinel Williams, 48, on September 25, 2016.

Reports are that Williams died after he was struck in the head with a solid object.

Investigations led police officers to John and on Monday he was committed to stand trial when a Preliminary Inquiry into the matter concluded at the Serious Offences Court.

The teenager will remain in police

custody until his next court appearance. (AS)
