When Raguette appeared yesterday at the Serious Offences Court before Chief Magistrate Rechanne Browne-Matthias, he pleaded not guilty to the charge of intent to defraud the consular officer at the United States Embassy in Bridgetown, Barbados, by falsely representing himself to be a number of different persons between September 2011 and August 2013.

Police allege that Raguette represented himself to be HV Prescott (a fictitious name) on September 2011, Mavis E Johnson on September 2011 and August 9, 2013 and CB Richards on July 29, 2013.

The CBA chair will continue on station bail until he returns to the Serious Offences Court on June 30 2016.

He is represented by Ronnie Marks.(AS)
