Sam, a 29-year-old unemployed male of Ottley Hall, is accused of shooting Dexter Rodney of Rockies at Rose Place on October 1, 2015.

Shortly after the shooting, the Royal St Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force issued a wanted notice for the accused regarding the offence of attempted murder.

After two months on the run, the police caught Sam on Thursday, December 3, at a house in Ottley Hall.

Besides being charged with attempted murder, Sam was also charged with having a .380 pistol in his possession with seven rounds of .380 ammunition.

Checks were made at the Traffic Department, which deals with firearm registration, and it was revealed that the accused is not the holder of a firearm licence.(Police Public Relations)
