Belair resident Joel McLean has been granted $30,000 bail after he pleaded not guilty to possessing arms and ammunition.{{more}}

McLean appeared at the Serious Offences Court yesterday and pleaded not guilty to possession of a Mark 4.32 revolver without a license, under the firearm act. He was also charged with having a Smith and Wesson .32 revolver, serial number 1749 and 12 rounds of .32 ammunition.

The prosecution did not object to McLean’s bail, and magistrate Zoila Ellis-Browne ordered him to surrender his travel documents and report twice a week to the Calliaqua Police Station.

The matter was adjourned to October 8 for hearing.(KW)
