Frederick on gun and ammunition charges

New Montrose resident Adano Frederick has been granted $10,000 bail after appearing at the Serious Offences Court on Wednesday on charges of gun and ammunition possession.{{more}}

Frederick, 21, pleaded not guilty to possession of a .32 Smith and Wesson firearm and five rounds of .32 ammunition, which police allegedly found him with on July 5, at Rose Place.

Magistrate Zoila Ellis Browne, in setting out further bail conditions, ordered the man to surrender his travel documents and report to the Central Police Station on Fridays between 6 a.m and 8 p.m.

The matter was adjourned to October 3 for hearing.(KW)
