Wilson appeared at the Serious Offences Court yesterday and was not required to plead to the indictable charges laid against him.

The charges include: while being armed with a gun at Kingstown, on February 7, (Wilson) did rob Vendcliff Primus, a worker of the business place, of a laptop bag valued at $60.

Wilson was further charged with robbing Primus of $29,000 in cash and $13,000 in cheques, the property of C.K. Greaves’ Wholesale Division.

Chief Magistrate Sonya Young set bail at $30,000 for Wilson and ordered him to report twice a week to the Questelles Police Station.

He was ordered to surrender all travel documents.

Stop notices are also to be placed at all ports of entry and exit.

The matter was adjourned to June 11, where eight prosecution witnesses are expected to testify in the matter.

It is alleged that three assailants made off with the cash around 5:25 p.m.
