Men charged with C.K. Greaves robbery

Police sources have disclosed that two people are in custody in connection with the armed robbery of C.K. Greaves’ Wholesale Division last Friday.{{more}}

Management remained tight-lipped on what occurred. However, according to the police, three assailants made off with an undisclosed amount of cash around 5:25 p.m.

Last Friday’s incident was the second daylight robbery in two weeks, the first occurring on January 30 when an employee of St Hill Insurance Company was relieved of the deposit bag containing cash and cheques as he was making his way to the bank.

Two residents of Paul’s Avenue were arrested and charged in connection with that matter. (DD)
