Russell’s Cineplex robbery case hears more evidence

The preliminary inquiry involving the five men who were charged for their involvement in the robbery of the Russell’s Cineplex and the shooting death of Rodney Grant has been adjourned to December 18.{{more}}

On Tuesday, the court heard videotaped evidence from three of the accused men — Zemroy Guy, Chad Jacobs and Clemroy Pinder.

Evidence recorded by the other two — Symce Williams and Kamara George was played on Wednesday.

It is expected that cross examination will take place when the court matter resumes in just over a week’s time.

The PI began on November 25 with three witnesses giving statements. It was then adjourned to December 4.

The five are charged with having in their possession a .38 revolver; for robbing Mohendus Martin of a quantity of his personal cash and that of Russell’s Cineplex; and assault and causing the death of Rodney Grant.(DD)
