Man sentenced for assaulting student, stealing phone
Terron Prince, 25, was on Tuesday handed a six-month sentence at the Kingstown Magistrateâs Court for assaulting a fourth form student and stealing her phone.{{more}}
The offence was committed on the premises of the Bishopâs College on November 22, when Prince entered the school compound and followed the female student into the bathroom.
Prince followed the girl into the bathroom, but she was able to fend off the man and run into the schoolâs office.
The court heard on Tuesday that Prince then followed the girl into the schoolâs office where he slapped her and made off with her mobile phone.
