The duo, Wynnerd Larson Mapp, 29, and Igino Ricardo Neverson, 36, came before the No. 5 Supreme Court in Barbados again yesterday, after pleading guilty in September to possession, trafficking and importation of the drugs.

The men were nabbed off St Lucy by Coastguard officers, in May 2011.

Yesterday, Justice Maureen Crane-Scott took into consideration the time spent on remand, which was just over three years.

They were given a further three-year sentence, which was suspended. Mapp and Neverson have also been deported.

Mapp was represented by attorney-at-law Romain Marshall, who mitigated on an earlier occasion.
