Tour guide charged with threatening, assaulting curator

Tour Guide St Clair Badnock will re-appear in court on December 2, when he will answer charges of maliciously uttering threats to the lives of Gordon Shallow and his family, and unlawful assault.{{more}}

The incident in question is alleged to have taken place on Friday, November 15 while Shallow, the curator of the Botanic Gardens, was on duty. Badnock is alleged to have physically assaulted Shallow, by pushing him on the right shoulder, causing him to almost fall over a bridge located at the Gardens.

Police arrested and charged 53-year-old Badnock on Saturday.

He appeared before the Magistrate’s Court yesterday. The case was adjourned to December 2.
